Daniel “Dan” Richard Wegner, 66, of Ocean View died Dec. 28, 2012, at his residence. Born May 17, 1946, in Saginaw, Mich., he was a protea grower and exporter and a public school counselor.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date.
He is survived by wife, Dona Foster of Ocean View; son, Daniel (Mary) Wegner II of Freeland, Mich.; daughters, Michelle (Matthew) Derleth of Texas, Amy Button of Houston; brother, William (Judy) Wegner of Saginaw, Mich.; four granddaughters; two nephews.
